Melven E. Smith
Founder / President

For over 28 years, Mr. Smith has represented many local and national lenders in trust deed and judicial foreclosures. He is also experienced in real property law – boundary, title and land disputes, title insurance, closings, easements, contract drafting and negotiations, commercial and residential development, and commercial and residential evictions. Mr. Smith earned his B.A. magna cum laude from Weber State University (1980) and his J.D. at the University of Utah, College of Law (1983). He has been a member of the Utah State Bar since 1983, and is a member of the U.S. District Court Bar, the Weber County Bar, and the Rex E. Lee Inn of the American Inns of Court.

Lance Jensen
Vice President

Lance began his career in title in 1992, joining Lincoln Title in 2008. He employs an incredibly detailed approach to his work, and is an expert not only in residential work but commercial and development projects as well. Lance enjoys the challenges of working with clients on particularly difficult transactions and always takes that extra step to make sure our clients are satisfied.

Nate Baldwin
Director of Marketing

Nate generates a high level of enthusiasm in his happy and energetic approach to life, and he directs the focus of Lincoln Title towards a spirit of teamwork and service. Kenyon D. Dove
Treasurer

Mr. Dove obtained his Juris Doctor at the University of Minnesota Law School (2002), and his B.A. cum laude in Political Science at Weber State University (1999). He currently practices law at Smith Knowles, P.C., specializing in real estate law with a focus on creditor bankruptcy protection, commercial and residential landlord/tenant law, real estate litigation and collections. Mr. Dove has been a member of the Utah State Bar since 2003, and is also an active member of the U.S. District Court Bar, the Weber County Bar, and the Rex E. Lee Inn of the American Inns of Court. He is a former Realtor and is currently licensed with the Utah Division of Real Estate as a Continuing Education Instructor and provides CLE, CE and client training on an ongoing basis. Mr. Dove is also an adjunct faculty at Weber State University teaching Business Law. His expertise is an invaluable asset to Lincoln Title.

Carrie Brough
Board Member

Carrie has more than 13 years of experience in the title industry and has been with Lincoln Title since it was organized. Carrie is highly efficient and is well versed in commercial, residential, land development, bank-owned properties and associated transactions. Carrie is CDP Certified (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and has extensive knowledge and experience in leading edge technology, which adds great strength to the organization.

Eric Iverson
Board Member

After graduating with a B.S. in Economics, Eric entered the title industry in 1991. Over the years, he has worked in various capacities within the industry and he has developed a finely honed understanding of the closing process and an even more keenly developed sense of client needs. Eric’s attention to detail and follow up ensures that every closing is a smooth and comfortable process.
